Kingdom Of God

How wonderful and pleasant it is when we live together in harmony! For harmony is as precious as the anointing oil that was poured over Aaron’s head, that ran down his beard and onto the border of his robe. Psalm 133:1-2
If there is any conflict or tension in our community of faith, I pray that faith in the unity given by Christ would sustain us. We are at peace with one another, and we thank God for the experience of unity. Lord, we need Christian community. Help me to be there for others in the same way I need others to be there for me. We thank God for what he has done for us, for giving us others who live by God’s call, forgiveness, and promise. We do not complain about what God does not give us; rather we are thankful for what God does give us daily.

Only Jesus

Yes, I am the gate. Those who come in through me will be saved. They will come and go freely and will find good pastures. The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep. John 10:9-11

Obedience

I pray that me, my family, and my spiritual friends would have the
courage to be obedient to whatever You, God are calling us to.
Gracious God, grant us the wisdom to see what You need us to do
and the courage to do it.

Cheap Grace

Cheap grace is that which we bestow on ourselves. Cheap grace is preaching forgiveness without repentance; it is baptism without the discipline of community; it is the Lord’s Supper without confession of sin; it is absolution without personal confession. Cheap grace is grace without discipleship, grace without the cross, grace without the living, incarnate Jesus Christ. Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Bless Me

1 Chronicles 4:9-10 NLT
There was a man named Jabez who was more honorable than any of his brothers. His mother named him Jabez because his birth had been so painful. He was the one who prayed to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and expand my territory! Please be with me in all that I do, and keep me from all trouble and pain!” And God granted him his request.

Reveal The Kingdom

Do You Know Him? That's My King!

Passive Christians

The Greatest Challenge

What is my purpose?

In the midst of trying and difficult times, have you ever asked God, “Why am I here?” or “What is my purpose?” It is quite possible that you may have raised these questions while things were going seemingly well. No matter where you are in life right now, know this: God put you on this earth to fulfill the promise He has predestined for your life. T. D. Jakes

God's Wonders

Paul’s Prayer for Spiritual Growth Ephesians 3:14-21
When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father,
the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from his
glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength
through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as
you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and
keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all
God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep
his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too
great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all
the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at
work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or
think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all
generations forever and ever!
Amen. (Joshua 3:14-17)

The Potter

God knows what He is doing in each of us. He is the potter, and we are His clay. He will mold us, make us, and expose us, to just enough of the right kind of pressure to form us into a flawless piece of work, that will fulfill His good, pleasing and perfect will.

When life seems hard, you are pounded, patted, and pushed, almost beyond endurance; your world seems to be spinning out of control; you feel the fiery furnace of trials; when life seems to "stink"; try this: Brew a cup of your favorite tea in your prettiest tea cup, sit down and have a little talk with the Potter.

Only God...

Hebrews 6:10

Hebrews 6:10
For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do.

Live On Purpose

Contemplate your life. Think of the people God put along your path. Fond memories of those He put there for a season. Not so fond memories of those He put there for a reason! All of them to help Propel you into your Purpose!
