Paul’s Prayer for Spiritual Growth
When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

The Jesus Prayer

When we are transformed into the image of God we would meet the pinnacle of joy and peace that God desires for us; for we will be in His will - His design for our lives. Lord your will be done in our lives. We pray that our memory, will and affections be the memory, will and affections of you; and that you destroy everything that is not of you in our lives. Have your way dear Jesus.

God's Power

Let us align ourselves with God and His will so that we can see His power in and through our lives and give Him the Glory. Many are depressed and oppressed and in spiritual captivity. What will our answer be? For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline - 2 Tim 1:17. I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you - Luke 10:19. "Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? Isa 58: 5. There is work to be done.

Believing

Changed by the power of God

God's power is available to transform us. To change the old person. We act based upon the way we think. When our minds are transformed and renewed; it is reflected in our actions. We start to represent Christ. The problem begins when we start to take the process for-granted and we begin to act out of our flesh - the old us without realizing this. This is an ongoing process. Let us allow this ...process to take place daily in our lives and say like Paul, it is no longer I that live but Christ who lives in me - Gal 2:20. Give Him glory for the transformation in our lives, and may He be glorified. Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

Do you have the faith to continue being excellent when people consistently ignore your creativity?

Many times people don’t criticize you because they are evil; they do it because they’ve been trained to think anyone who doesn’t perceive and see things in the same manner is an enemy.

Once you've put your hand to the plow for God’s work, you cant afford to be distracted by what people say. Keep on doing what you’re doing.

God wants you to know the Truth! For, when you know the Truth about who you are in Him, it'll set you free from everything you used to be!

It’s not the chains that hold you prisoner...it is your mind!

Honestly and truthfully disagreeing with someone does NOT make you a “Judas”. The mark of a true friend is them being bold enough to confront you on your issue in love.

Every goal that you will ever pursue will require a plan of action. Whether you are pursuing your life’s destiny or striving to obtain a particular goal, you must be able to see things as you desire them to be.

We often don’t transform because we don’t pay attention to our minds. “...Be transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2). Our prayer should be, “Lord, help me to think correctly.”

Those who really love you will speak the truth to you at the risk of falling out with you. Loving truth from a friend is better than gold.

It is far better to confront a person with the truth of an issue in love than to merely talk “about” them.

Jesus

May God go ahead of you to fight your hidden battles. Your foot shall not lead you to a place of destruction. Every arrow shot in the spiritual realm to terminate your life this day, I cancel, it shall never have effect over your life. May the favor of the Almighty God locate you this day in the Mighty, Powerful, Holy, name of Jesus the Christ.

Galatians 6: 14-17 May I never boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of that cross, my interest in this world has been crucified, and the world’s interest in me has also died.

It doesn’t matter whether we ...have been circumcised or not. What counts is whether we have been transformed into a new creation.

May God’s peace and mercy be upon all who live by this principle; they are the new people of God. From now on, don’t let anyone trouble me with these things. For I bear on my body the scars that show I belong to Jesus.
