Let Go And Let God

My message and my preaching were very plain. Rather than using clever and persuasive speeches, I relied only on the power of the Holy Spirit. I did this so you would trust not in human wisdom but in the power of God. 1 Corinthians 2:4-5 Let Go & Let God, trust Him absolutely, and see what He will do in your life!

Our God

My God, my Lord and King, my Savior, You are perfect. You are the Omnipotent, Omnipresent, and Omniscient Creator and Ruler of the universe. You are the object of my worship, love, and devotion. Thank You for setting me in a place where I can hear You clearly. Move me out of the way, so You may be seen and speak through me, as Your will is done. Thank You for preparing me, as You propel me, into my purpose; to love, comfort, edify and encourage.

Exalt The Name of Jesus

God raised Jesus from the dead, and now he is exalted to the place of highest honor in heaven, at God’s right hand. And the Father, as he had promised, gave him the Holy Spirit to pour out upon us, just as you see and hear today. For David himself never ascended into heaven, yet he said, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit in the place of honor at my right hand. Acts 2:32-34

Consolations

2 Corinthians 1:3-5 God Offers Comfort to All
All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ.

Worship The Lord

Blessings, Prayers, Worship, and Praise are my weapons, my arsenal, my ultimate resources, for ALL situations! The more arduous the arrows, the more the praise turns to worship!!!

Name of Jesus

Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross.

Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Created In His Image

As Jesus sees us daily conformed into His image, He rejoices in us. Like a sculptor with his chisel, chipping out a statue that lies hidden in a block of marble, the Lord smiles as He brings out our features with his graving tool, the Spirit, making us like Himself. He finds much delight in us.

Spiritual Blessings

God has now revealed to us his mysterious plan regarding Christ, a plan to fulfill his own good pleasure. And this is the plan: At the right time he will bring everything together under the authority of Christ—everything in heaven and on earth. Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for he chose us in advance, and he makes everything work out according to his plan. Ephesians 1:9-11

Deception

For meditation:
Respectability and being religious are among Satan’s most effective weapons to blind men and women to their true sinful condition and to their need of the Lord Jesus Christ as the only one who can save them 2 Corinthians 4:4. Is Satan successfully pulling the wool over your eyes? Charles Spurgeon Sermon no. 618 March 5, 1865

Love Is

1 Corinthians 13 Love Is the Greatest - If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained Nothing. Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.

New Season

As we go from level to level the word grows with us. In this new season reading the word is an enlightening experience. Scripture I have read many times before seems to jump out with new emphasis! I love the word, so I'm loving it! John 1 Christ, the Eternal Word - In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He existed in the beginning with God. God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him. Amen, Hallelujah, Bless His Holy, Precious, Name Forever!!!

Obedience

Have the same mind Christ Jesus, who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but emptied himself (kenosis), taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death -- even death on a cross. (Philippians 2:1-11)

Absolute Trust

Tell me why I fail to trust Jesus when He promised He'll make a way? Why do I fail the test, and cry, when He said I would be blessed? Though sometimes I get down I will trust Him, believe Him, and never doubt Him! Jesus came as a light to shine in this dark world, so that all who put their trust in Him will no longer remain in the dark.

Trust God

I pray, standing on the truth of God's Word with wisdom, knowledge & understanding! Jesus, You have given me the keys to the Kingdom and whatsoever I bind on earth is bound in heaven, & whatsoever I loose on earth is loosed in heaven. Let my will be bound to Your will Father, as I am constantly aware of Your purpose for my life. I decree that I stay bound to Your truths God, & I will not be deceived by the many subtle deceptions of the enemy. I am bound to Your blood Jesus, for miracle working power to restore, heal, protect and preserve in Your Holy Precious Name. Amen!

Always Thankful

I thank God for my friends who serve the Lord with me. I know God, who chose us, will continue to work in and through us until the glorious day Jesus returns. We are filled with righteousness, through Jesus, and share God's special favor, because we have the privilege of not only trusting Christ, but suffering, as we struggle together, encouraging each other, until that day comes. Philippians 1

Absolute Faith

Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith. The real children of Abraham, then, are those who put their faith in God. What’s more, the Scriptures looked forward to This Time when God would declare the Gentiles to be righteous because of their faith. God proclaimed this good news to Abraham long ago when he said, “All nations will be blessed through you.” So all who put their faith in Christ share the same blessing Abraham received because of his faith. Galatians 3:6-9 Absolute Faith!

God's Spirit

Jesus said; “I tell you, whoever publicly acknowledges me, the Son of Man will also acknowledge before the angels of God. But whoever publicly disowns me will be disowned before the angels of God. And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven. “When you are brought before synagogues, rulers and authorities, do not worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say, for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.” Luke 12:8-12

Open Your Mind

Matthew 22:36-38 “Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?” Jesus replied, “‘You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment.

Faith

James 2:14-17 What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone? Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, and you say, “Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well”—but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do? So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.

H O P E

Romans 8:23-25 And we believers also groan, even though we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, for we long for our bodies to be released from sin and suffering. We, too, wait with eager hope for the day when God will give us our full rights as his adopted children, including the new bodies he has promised us. We were given this hope when we were saved. (If we already have something, we don’t need to hope for it. But if we look forward to something we don’t yet have, we must wait patiently and confidently.)

Trust The Lord

What do you do when life questions your faith, and all the dreams you had seem like they're drifting away? It takes all of your strength just to make it through the day, but through it all keep on trusting God. What do you do when you cried all you can? When you have to wear a smile when you hurt deep inside? What do you do when there is no one you can call? Through it all though it's hard, and I may have to cry sometimes, I've got to keep trusting Him! (Deitrick Haddon CD Trusting God)

Psalm 62: 5-8

Psalm 62:5-8 Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken. My victory and honor come from God alone. He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me. O my people, trust in him at all times. Pour out your heart to him, for God is our refuge.

Let Go - Let God

I Am Blessed

I Am Blessed Because I Believed The Lord Would Do What He Said!

Trusting God

John 12:44-50 Jesus shouted to the crowds, “If you trust me, you are trusting not only me, but also God who sent me. For when you see me, you are seeing the one who sent me. I have come as a light to shine in this dark world, so that all who put their trust in me will no longer remain in the dark. I will not judge those who hear me but don’t obey me, for I have come to save the world and not to judge it. But all who reject me and my message will be judged on the day of judgment by the truth I have spoken. I don’t speak on my own authority. The Father who sent me has commanded me what to say and how to say it. And I know his commands lead to eternal life; so I say whatever the Father tells me to say.”

Thankful

Micah 6: 8

One Soul, Love, Heart

My soul must come under the hand of the Spirit; just as a piece of clay on the potter’s wheel revolves, is touched by the fingers of the potter, and is molded into what he wishes it to be, I must lie passively in the hand of the Spirit of God. He must work in me to will and do of his own good pleasure. Then I can begin to work out my own salvation with fear and trembling, but never, never until then. I must have more than nature can give me, more than my mother and my father gave me, more than flesh and blood can produce. I must have the Spirit of God from Heaven. What is the best evidence I received him? That I rest upon Christ Jesus alone for salvation.

There Is No Greater Love

There is no greater love than the love You have for me Lord. You gave Your life on Calvary so I am free to tell You of my love, worship, honor, praise and adoration constantly. I sing Your praises all the day long. I worship You above all else! There is no adequate way to express the depth, height, and width of this amazing love You put inside me except: THERE IS NO GREATER LOVE

Have the Attitude of Christ -

Philippians 2
Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and compassionate? Agree wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose. Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.

You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.

Shine Brightly for Christ!

Matthew 9: 10-13

THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS

Luke 23:32-38 There were also two others, criminals, led with Him to be put to death. And when they had come to the place called Calvary, there they crucified Him, and the criminals, one on the right hand and the other on the left. Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.”

And they divided His garments and cast lots. And the people stood looking on. But even the rulers with them sneered, saying, “He saved others; let Him save Himself if He is the Christ, the chosen of God.” The soldiers also mocked Him, coming and offering Him sour wine, and saying, “If You are the King of the Jews, save Yourself.”

And an inscription also was written over Him in letters of Greek, Latin, and Hebrew:
THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

James 4:10

James 4:10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor.

Father protect us by the power of Your name

Father protect us by the power of Your name. Let us be and pray as one; Father, Son, Holy Spirit, and we Your children, who have given our lives to You and are no longer of this world. The world hates us, and our prayer is that you protect us from the evil one. Sanctify us through and through by Your word of truth. You sent us into the world to pray for those who will believe in You that through our message we may all be one. You have given us Your glory so we may be brought to complete unity, because You loved us before the creation of the world. God of peace, may our whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, for You who called us is faithful, and You will do it. In Jesus' Holy Precious Name we pray. Amen!

Be Still, Listen to God

Spending Time WIth God

God Offers Comfort to All

May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.
Even when we are weighed down with troubles, it is for your comfort and salvation! For when we ourselves are comforted, we will certainly comfort you. Then you can patiently endure the same things we suffer. We are confident that as you share in our sufferings, you will also share in the comfort God gives us.

Holy Spirit

I don’t think any man has power over his fellow creature’s will, but the Spirit of God has. “I will make them willing in the day of my power.” He makes the unwilling sinner so willing that he is eager for the gospel; he who was obstinate, now runs to the cross. He, who laughed at Jesus, now begs for his mercy; and he who would not believe, is now made by the Holy Spirit to do it, not only willingly, but eagerly; he is happy, he is glad to do it, rejoices in the sound of Jesus’ name, and delights to obey God’s commands. The Holy Spirit has power over the will. (Excerpt from The Power of the Holy Spirit June 17, 1855 by Charles H. Spurgeon)

Finding Peace

2 Peter 3:13-14
But we are looking forward to the new heavens and new earth he has promised, a world filled with God’s righteousness. And so, dear friends, while you are waiting for these things to happen, make every effort to be found living peaceful lives that are pure and blameless in his sight.

Faith and Endurance

The Book of James 1
Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.

If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do.

Believers who are poor have something to boast about, for God has honored them. And those who are rich should boast that God has humbled them. They will fade away like a little flower in the field. The hot sun rises and the grass withers; the little flower droops and falls, and its beauty fades away. In the same way, the rich will fade away with all of their achievements.

Oh how He loves us

Jesus the desire of my heart

All Glory to Your name my Lord, my God, my King. You, the greatest gift of all, are robed in majesty. You saved me from the fall with Your love, grace and mercy. Take control, have Your way in me, there is no one like You and I worship You in spirit and in truth. Refresh my soul and breathe into me. I lift up my hands to magnify Your name and give You all the honor, glory, worship, and praise You deserve. I want to be in the high place where You are. The secret place, the Holy of Holies.

Take me there, past the gates, beyond the courts, above all powers and principalities, where we commune together. Break me and draw me nearer as I run after You. I'm desperate for Your embrace. I need You to heal me, put the garment of grace on me, and keep me safe in Your presence, by Your side. I can't live without You, light of truth, giver of grace, mercy, and peace. I worship You, adore You, and love You with all my mind, my heart, my body, and my soul.

Praise from the Great Crowd

Revelation 7:9-12 Praise from the Great Crowd
After this I saw a vast crowd, too great to count, from every nation and tribe and people and language, standing in front of the throne and before the Lamb. They were clothed in white robes and held palm branches in their hands. And they were shouting with a great roar, “Salvation comes from our God who sits on the throne and from the Lamb!”

And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living beings. And they fell before the throne with their faces to the ground and worshiped God. They sang, “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and strength belong to our God forever and ever! Amen.”

Refiner's Fire

Malachi 3:1-3 - The Coming Messenger - “Behold, I send My messenger, And he will prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, Will suddenly come to His temple, Even the Messenger of the covenant, In whom you delight. Behold, He is coming,” Says the Lord of hosts.

“But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire. And like launderers’ soap. He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, And purge them as gold and silver, That they may offer to the Lord An offering in righteousness.

John 16: 12-15

God is Worthy

GOD IS WORTHY: I called on the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and he saved me from my enemies. Matthew 10:38 If you refuse to take up your cross and follow me, you are not worthy of being mine. Matthew 22:8 And he said to his servants, The wedding feast is ready, and the guests I invited aren’t worthy of the honor. Acts 5:41 The apostles left the high council rejoicing that God had counted them worthy to suffer disgrace for the name of Jesus.

Come Let Us Worship

Psalm 95:6-7 Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the LORD our maker, for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care. If only you would listen to his voice today!

I Love The Lord

I love Jesus! I love Him with all I am and all I ever will be. I could spend the entire day telling you how I learned to love Him, trust Him, and never doubt Him, 1,000 or more reasons why I love Him, all the benefits of loving Him, how long I have loved Him, all He means to me, and why, etc, but the only thing that really matters is that I will NEVER stop loving Him. I know All I need to know about Him, especially that I can't, and won't, live without Him! He is ALL I need! As long as He is in my life, I'm good! Oh, He's coming back, like He said He would!

Refreshing

Acts 3:19-21 Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away. Then times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord, and he will again send you Jesus, your appointed Messiah.

Believe John 6:35 - 40

John 6:35-40 Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. But you haven’t believed in me even though you have seen me. However, those the Father has given me will come to me, and I will never reject them. For I have come down from heaven to do the will of God who sent me, not to do my own will. And this is the will of God, that I should not lose even one of all those he has given me, but that I should raise them up at the last day. For it is my Father’s will that all who see his Son and believe in him should have eternal life. I will raise them up at the last day.”
